Singaraja, May 13, 2025 – Ganesha University of Education (UNDIKSHA) continues to strengthen its role in the global education network through the Join Teaching activity with Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Malaysia. This activity took place on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at 14.30 WITA online via the Zoom platform. On this occasion, two lecturers from the Informatics Engineering Education Study Program, Faculty of Engineering and Vocational UNDIKSHA, namely I Ketut Andika Pradnyana, S.Pd M.Pd., and I Nengah Eka Mertayasa, S.Pd, M.Pd., acted as the main lecturers in an international lecture session entitled “Fundamentals of 2D Animation: Principles, Production Techniques, and Implementation.” This lecture was attended by students from UiTM Malaysia who received in-depth material on the basic principles of two-dimensional animation, visual production techniques, and the application of animation techniques. This activity was also attended by lecturers from UiTM, namely Mr. Mohd Daud Alang Hassan (UiTM) and Mrs. Siti Azura Ramlan (UiTM).
The material presented by the two UNDIKSHA lecturers was designed in an applicable and contextual manner, providing insights that are relevant to the development of visual communication and multimedia technology. In addition to conveying technical concepts, the lecturers also showed examples of real implementation and opened up interactive discussion spaces for lecturers.
This activity is concrete evidence of UNDIKSHA’s efforts to expand international collaboration, improve the quality of education, and strengthen the global competence of lecturers and students. This Join Teaching activity directly contributes to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDG number 4 on Quality Education. The main focus of the activity is to encourage equal access for all to quality higher education, and to emphasize the importance of improving technical and professional skills, especially in the field of information and communication technology.
By providing opportunities for international students to gain direct learning from foreign lecturers, this activity not only enriches cross-cultural insights, but also forms a competent young generation that is ready to face the challenges of the digital era. This also supports UNDIKSHA’s vision as a university that excels in education and is globally competitive. The synergy between UNDIKSHA and UiTM through the Join Teaching program is expected to continue and develop, opening up more opportunities for international academic cooperation in the future.
