Singaraja, March 7, 2024 – The Informatics Education Study Program (PTI) program at Ganesha Education University (Undiksha) was represented by the Head of Department, Dr. phil. Dessy Seri Wahyuni, S.Kom., M.Eng, in order to participate in the Domestic Product Shopping Business Matching program (PDN) in 2024. The event, held from March 4 to 7, 2024, took place at The Meru Sanur, Bali.
The presence of the IEE department aimed to understand the needs of industries related to educational tools/media that have the potential to be developed into final project products that comply with the educational product requirements set by the government.
This activity brings significant benefits to the PTI program by fostering collaboration or significant opportunities with creative industries, one of which is PT. Educational Toy Teacher. This industry requires concepts and educational content that can be delivered through teaching aids with storytelling scenarios. The IEE program can contribute to the design of teaching aids, while the product materials can be provided by the company. This collaboration opens up opportunities for the PTI program to create final project products that meet industry needs, while industries can produce teaching aids by reducing import costs in accordance with TKDN standard policies.
The participation of the PTI program in the Business Matching PDN 2024 is expected to open more doors for collaboration between the education and industrial sectors, and to produce innovative products that support the development of education in Indonesia, in line with various Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially: SDG 4: Quality Education: Collaboration between the PTI program and industries in the development of educational tools/media aims to improve the quality of education in Indonesia. SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure: Participation in the Business Matching PDN encourages innovation and collaboration between the education and industrial sectors to advance the technology education industry in the country. SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals: Collaboration between the PTI program and industries in the development of educational products demonstrates the importance of partnerships among stakeholders to achieve sustainable development goals.
“We attended this event with a clear goal, which is to understand the needs of industries related to educational tools/media that have the potential to be developed into final project products that comply with the educational product requirements set by the government,” said Dr. Dessy Seri Wahyuni.
One of the main highlights of the PTI program’s participation in this activity is the development of creative educational products using materials with Domestic Content Level (TKDN) that comply with government standards. “We hope to establish collaboration or significant opportunities with creative industries, one of which is PT. Educational Toy Teacher, in developing concepts and educational content that can be delivered through teaching aids with storytelling scenarios,” she added.
