Student Executive Board (BEM) Faculty of Engineering and Vocational (FTK) Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (UNDIKSHA) for the 2020/2021 term of service with the Student Advisor, Mr. I Gusti Lanang Agung Raditya Putra, S.Pd., M.T. celebrate the 75th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia by sharing with the Indonesian Veterans Legion (LVRI) Buleleng Regency. Respecting the freedom fighters of the Republic of Indonesia during the Covid-19 pandemic, BEM FTK UNDIKSHA provided basic food assistance in the form of rice, eggs, cooking oil, masks and hand sanitizers to members of LVRI, Buleleng Regency on Sunday (16/8/2020), located at the LVRI Buleleng Regency Office, Jl. Cambodia, no 11 Singaraja.
We chose to share with them because the current conditions are very unfriendly to those of vulnerable age,” said the Head of BEM FTK UNDIKSHA, Kadek Ariantika.
He also conveyed the distribution of masks and hand sanitizers as a form of support to break the chain of the spread of Covid-19, especially to LVRI members of the Buleleng Regency. “We hope that these fighters are always healthy and continue to inspire young people in the future. This activity is a form of our support and care,” he said.
“Regarding the red and white mask design, it is an effort to increase the sense of nationalism towards the nation and state. It is hoped that the entire community will always fight against various challenges and problems that occur, including preventing the spread of Covid-19. So that our lives can quickly recover and be normal,” he concluded.
Meanwhile, financial support came from the FTK Community of UNDIKSHA (Lecturers, Staff, and Students consisting of several study programmes including: Informatics Management, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Family Welfare Education, Informatics Education, Mechanical Engineering Education, Electrical Engineering Education, and Vocational Culinary Arts Education.)
