Badung – I Putu Angga Pastika Febriana, a student from the Informatics Engineering Education Study Program at Ganesha University of Education, made a proud achievement in the Badung Innovation Festival Competition. With an innovative Android-based application entitled “MY MIND: Multi Utility Mental Health Innovation for Pregnant Women and Depression Prevention”, Putu won second place in this prestigious competition (26/7/2023).
The “MY MIND” application was developed to deal with mental health problems for pregnant women in Badung Regency, with a focus on preventing depression after the COVID-19 pandemic. This application provides a variety of innovative features that enable pregnant women to independently measure their mental health, including screening, categorization and initial treatment.
Putu Angga Pastika Febriana and his team hope that the development of this application will be an important part of an integrated, sustainable and comprehensive promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative effort for the mental health of pregnant women in Badung Regency. By using Android technology that is flexible and widely used by the public, the “MY MIND” application is expected to be an effective solution in managing mental health problems for pregnant women.
Coordinator of the Informatics Engineering Education Study Program, Dr. phil. Dessy Seri Wahyuni, S.Kom., M.Eng., expressed her pride for the achievements made by Angga and his team. He stated that the active participation of students in competitions and the development of technological innovations is very important in facing various challenges in the modern era.
The “MY MIND” team plans to continue developing this application so that it can provide greater benefits to society, especially in supporting the mental health of pregnant women. It is hoped that Putu Angga Pastika Febriana’s innovation can become an inspiration for other students to contribute in creating innovative solutions that benefit the wider community.
