Singaraja – The Student Entrepreneurial Program (Program Mahasiswa Wirausaha or PMW) is an entrepreneurship program organized by the Technical Implementation Unit for Career Development and Student Entrepreneurship of Undiksha. The program aims to increase knowledge, skills, and entrepreneurial spirit for students and encourage the formation of entrepreneurial students who are educated, have good characters, and have a conceptual business.
Mahapati (Informatics Education Student) on behalf of Lora Elfira Br Sembiring and Ni Luh Puja Sasmita passed PMW Undiksha funding in 2022. Lora Elfira Br Sembiring said that she raised the idea of ??making educational t-shirts for the community. The underlying reason for this idea is caused due to the unconsciousness of many people, especially the younger generation, who started to forget Indonesian folk stories which have extraordinary meanings. “I took the idea of ??folklore, then the meaning implied in the story is arranged into readable words. Those are the words that I will put on a t-shirt. Besides the fashion function of the t-shirt, it also educates the readers,” said Lora.
Another thing is stated by Puja Sasmita. She raised a business idea about graphic design related to learning media. “I made this business idea because I gained a lot of knowledge and experience at the Informatics Education Department. By learning those things, I think the graphic design business is still relevant nowadays. Moreover, technological developments are growing faster, so this graphic design business will be long-lasting. This business is engaged in making learning media, graphic design, animation, etc.,” said Puja when contacted via WA (10/7/2022).
By bringing up the business idea, these two Mahapatis received funding from Undiksha. The capital funds provided will be used as business capital for equipment and business implementation processes to run their businesses. (an)
