Singaraja, Secata Rindam IX/Udayana – To welcome the 2022 cohort of new students, the Informatics Engineering Student Association held the Orientation to Department Life (OKJ), also known as Infinity Orientation Time (IOT). In 2022, this event took place at Secata Rindam IX/Udayana.
Themed “Born to be Infinity,” the program aimed to nurture and shape Informatics Engineering students to be ready to learn and compete without limits, both within and beyond the campus environment. The event was designed to introduce the Informatics Engineering Department to new students.
On the first day of OKJ, Thursday, August 18, 2022, the event began with participant attendance and enforcement of the rules for those violating OKJ regulations. The session proceeded with the opening ceremony, including the singing of “Indonesia Raya,” the Undiksha Mars, the Informatics Engineering HMJ Mars, a prayer, and speeches. These included a report by the head of the OKJ 2022 committee and a welcoming speech, which officially opened the event by the Head of the Informatics Engineering Department.
Participants were then introduced to the structure of the Informatics Engineering Department, led by the Head of the Department. Following this, participants attended presentations from the coordinators of each study program within the department.
The introduction to the PTI (Informatics Engineering Education) study program was led by the Program Coordinator, Dr. phil. Dessy Seri Wahyuni, S. Kom., M.Eng. She delivered information on the curriculum, the scientific vision, and the mission of the PTI program. The session was attended by faculty members and new students from the Informatics Engineering Department.
This activity aimed to provide new students with a clear understanding of the vision, mission, and academic focus of the study program, helping them prepare for their four-year academic journey in the PTI program.
