Singaraja, 5 June 2024 – A delegation from PGRI University Semarang visited the Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) in the context of scientific study activities and signing a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA). This delegation consists of representatives of the Information Technology Education Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics Education, Natural Sciences and Information Technology, PGRI University Semarang.
This visit was received by the Informatics Engineering Education Study Program, Faculty of Engineering and Vocational Studies, Undiksha. The event began with a warm welcome from Deputy Dean 1 of the Undiksha Technical and Vocational Faculty, who expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration that would be built. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of collaboration between higher education institutions to improve the quality of education and research in the field of information technology.
During the visit, the PGRI Semarang University delegation had the opportunity to discuss and exchange views with colleagues from Undiksha regarding the latest developments in the field of information technology education. They also visited various laboratory facilities and classrooms owned by the Undiksha Technical and Vocational Faculty, and received exposure to various ongoing research projects.
The highlight of this visit was the signing of the MoA between the two institutions. This MoA aims to strengthen collaboration in the academic and research fields, including student and lecturer exchanges, collaboration in research, as well as the development of curricula that are more innovative and in line with current industry needs.
Head of the Information Technology Education Study Program, PGRI University Semarang, expressed his hope that this MoA would be the first step in many other productive collaborations in the future. “We hope that this collaboration will not only enrich the academic experience of students and lecturers, but also contribute to the progress of information technology in Indonesia,” he said.
This activity ended with a group photo session and the handing over of souvenirs as a souvenir. With this MoA, it is hoped that the two institutions can support each other in efforts to improve the quality of education and research in the field of information technology, as well as make positive contributions to society and industry.
