Singaraja, Ganesha University of Education – The Faculty of Engineering and Vocational Studies (FTK) of Ganesha University of Education held a Pre-Program Preparation and Budget Allocation activity for the 2026 Fiscal Year on Tuesday, January 7, 2025. Held in the FTK meeting room, this activity carried the theme “Break The Limit to Realize an International Reputable University in Educational and Leadership (IRUEL)”, reflecting Undiksha’s commitment to achieving an international reputation in the fields of education and leadership.
Present at this activity, the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Gede Rasben Dantes, S.T., M.T., who also gave a speech. In his direction, Prof. Rasben emphasized the importance of strengthening the internationalization program through the active involvement of lecturers in cross-country academic activities, such as reciprocal teaching and visiting professors.
“Every lecturer is expected to be involved in the reciprocal program or become a visiting professor at a university in the top QS World University Rankings. This not only improves individual competence but also brings Undiksha’s name to the international stage,” said Prof. Rasben.
As an example of success, Prof. Rasben mentioned the achievement of Dr. phil. Dessy Seri Wahyuni, S.Kom., M.Eng., one of the lecturers at FTK and also the Head of the Informatics Engineering Education Study Program who successfully passed the Visiting Professor with the reciprocal academic collaboration mode. This achievement is an inspiration for other lecturers to continue to encourage global-level academic achievements.
This pre-drafting activity is a strategic initial step in designing superior programs and allocating budgets effectively to support Undiksha’s vision as an International Reputable University in Educational and Leadership (IRUEL). The discussion involving all leaders, academic staff, students and education personnel of FTK was productive with a focus on innovation, collaboration, and strengthening governance that supports internationalization achievements.
The Dean of FTK, in his direction, emphasized that the theme “Break The Limit” is a motivation to continue to go beyond boundaries and create innovation, both in the fields of teaching, research, and community service.
With the spirit of togetherness and strong determination, FTK Undiksha is optimistic that it can realize strategic targets towards IRUEL in 2026. This activity was also concluded with a comprehensive conclusion from the discussion, as well as the preparation of a follow-up agenda that will be executed collaboratively. (an)
