Singaraja – Informatics Education Study Program held curriculum socialization and KRS (Study Plan Card) preparation for the new batch of students on Monday (29/8/22). The activity was carried out online and attended by all new PTI students and two resource persons, namely the Coordinator of the Informatics Education Study Program and the Student Coordinator of Informatics Education.
This activity aims to provide new students with an understanding of the lecture process that will be undertaken for the next 3 to 4 years. In this implementation, students are expected to get used to the situation of being a student who has good character. Such as the ability to independent learning, both in groups and individually, diligently searching for information, harmonious character in communicating and coordinating with lecturers and other students, show diligence in lectures, and no less important, having good etiquette.
Dr. Phil. Dessy Seri Wahyuni, S.Kom., M.Eng., the Coordinator of the Study Program, explained that the new batch of 2022 students will apply to the 2020 MBKM curriculum. “New students will apply the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) curriculum. With this curriculum, students are given guaranteed freedom to choose the field they like. The application is in the form of giving the right to study for 3 semesters outside the study program,” said Dessy Seri Wahyuni.
After the socialization of the implementation of the 2020 MBKM curriculum, I Gusti Agung Michael Swisnandya explained the technical preparation of the KRS. In the explanation, new students are taught to compile KRS starting by opening SSO, explaining features in SSO, opening SIAK-NG, filling in the complete data, and compiling KRS. (an)
