
Denpasar, February 18, 2025 – The Coordinator of the Information Technology Education (PTI) Study Program at Ganesha University of Education held an early semester meeting with 2nd-semester students of the Denpasar class at the Undiksha Denpasar Campus. This activity aimed to listen to students’ suggestions and feedback for the improvement and enhancement of learning quality in the PTI Study Program.
The meeting, held on Tuesday, was attended by all 2nd-semester students of the Denpasar class. This event is a routine agenda carried out by the study program as an effort to establish and maintain good communication and coordination with students. Through this meeting, it is hoped that students can be more active in voicing their opinions, ideas, and aspirations regarding learning in the campus environment.
During the discussion, various academic aspects were addressed, including general learning planning in alignment with the 2024 Curriculum. Additionally, the PTI Study Program Coordinator shared various tips and strategies for students to complete their studies on time. Some of the strategies discussed included effective time management, maximizing the use of available academic resources, and the importance of collaboration between students and lecturers in creating a conducive learning environment.
Students actively provided constructive feedback for the development and improvement of learning quality in the study program. Some of the suggestions included strengthening practical materials, increasing access to digital learning resources, and proposing more seminars and workshops relevant to their field of study. These inputs are expected to serve as evaluation material for the study program in improving the quality of teaching and academic services.
This activity is also in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 on Quality Education. Through this discussion and coordination, it is hoped that a more inclusive and high-quality education system can be created, supporting lifelong learning for all students. Additionally, this activity supports SDG 8 on Decent Work and Economic Growth by equipping students with relevant skills and understanding to prepare them for the workforce in the future.
Through this meeting, it is hoped that students not only gain a deeper understanding of the curriculum and academic strategies but also feel motivated to continuously enhance their competencies in facing the challenges of the evolving education and industry sectors. Moving forward, the PTI Study Program is committed to continuing similar meetings to ensure that every student receives an optimal and high-quality learning experience.
