Singaraja, January 26, 2025 – The Informatics Education Study Program (PTI) of Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (Undiksha) participated in the KepoInfinity event organized by the Informatics Engineering Student Association (HMJ TI). This event was conducted online via the Zoom platform and was attended by the Head of the Department, Secretary of the Informatics Engineering Department, Program Coordinators, four Study Program Coordinators, HMJ TI members, and participants consisting of high school/vocational school students and their accompanying teachers from across Bali.
The event began with a general introduction to the Informatics Engineering Department by the Head of the Department, followed by presentations from each study program. The Informatics Education Study Program (PTI) took the stage after the Information Systems (SI) Study Program. During the online session, Dr. phil. Dessy Seri Wahyuni, S.Kom., M.Eng., Coordinator of the PTI Study Program, stated, “The PTI Study Program focuses on integrating technology and education. We prepare graduates to become professional educators or technology practitioners, meeting the demands of today’s digital era.”
The final session featured an online sharing session with outstanding students from the Informatics Engineering Department. One student shared their inspiring experience, saying, “I hope my journey motivates all of you to excel and confidently choose Undiksha as your place to pursue higher education.”
This KepoInfinity event also contributes to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4, Quality Education, and Goal 9, Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure. Through the Zoom platform, Undiksha provided broad access for participants to gain insights into information technology and quality education, while also supporting inclusive learning.
The event successfully provided an in-depth understanding of the world of Informatics Engineering while strengthening participants’ interest in pursuing higher education at Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha. (al)
