Bandung – The Mahapati Team at the Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) made a brilliant achievement by winning 3rd place in the Digital Microteaching Division in the 2023 LIDM (Student Digital Innovation Competition) held at the Indonesian University of Education, Bandung. This success is a source of pride for the team and also for Undiksha as an educational institution that is highly committed to developing the potential of its students.
The team that won the championship was the Wipe Out Team which competed in the Digital Microteaching Division. This team was led by Ni Wayan Anik Puspita Sari as the Team Leader, supported by the Supervisor, Dr. phil. Dessy Seri Wahyuni, S.Kom., M.Eng. Apart from that, the Wipe Out Team also consists of very talented members, namely Putri Eodytha Aisya Purnomo, Gede Yuda Aditya, and Wayan Pancadana.
They succeeded in stealing the jury’s attention with the title of their work entitled “Digital Microteaching UTP Cabling Materials with the Project Base Learning Model”. This work carries an innovative and interactive learning concept, using a learning-based project approach to teach UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) wiring material. The Wipe Out team succeeded in presenting the material in an interesting and engaging way, so as to increase students’ understanding.
Dr. phil. Dessy Seri Wahyuni, S.Kom., M. Eng, as the team’s supervisor and also the Coordinator of the Informatics Engineering Education Study Program, expressed her pride in the achievements of the Wipe Out Team. He revealed that the team had worked hard and were very committed in preparing their work for the LIDM event. The Supervisor also hopes that this success can be a motivation for other PTI Undiksha students to continue to innovate and achieve glorious achievements.
The same thing was conveyed by Luh Putu Eka Damayanthi, S.Pd., M.Pd as the accompanying lecturer who accompanied students during the registration process to the final. He explained that all parties had worked hard in preparing this team, starting from students, the lecturer team, and other parties who also helped. “This result is our joint hard work at the Ganesha University of Education, especially in Informatics Engineering Education. Even though we only won third place, this is our momentum to continue to rise in the next LIDM event to make it even better,” said Eka (6/7/2023)
The success of the Wipe Out Team in winning 3rd place in the Digital Microteaching Division at LIDM in 2023 is clear evidence that Undiksha has the potential and high quality of education in the field of technology and education. In addition, this achievement also shows that PTI Undiksha is able to compete with other universities on the national level.
The PTI Undiksha Coordinator of Study Program hopes that this achievement will be the first step for students to continue to excel and make the study program and university proud. It is also hoped that this success can be an inspiration for other educational institutions to continue to encourage and support students in developing creativity and innovation in the field of digital education.
