In line with the 24th National Technology Awakening Day (Harteknas), the Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education, Prof. Mohamad Nasir, Ph. D., Ak., visited UNDIKSHA Tuesday, August 20, 2019. In addition to giving a public lecture on Campus Life Orientation (OKK) for new students, the Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education also inaugurated drinking water filtering, a business incubator on the central campus, inaugurated a tropical fruit garden at Jineng Dalem Campus, Buleleng Regency, and handed over several technological innovation products to the government and the Bali’s communities.
During his visitation, the Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education also visited the booth of the Informatics Engineering Department at the technology exhibition held at the UNDIKSHA Plaza. The Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education appreciated the technological innovations being exhibited. He even witnessed a simulation of a Virtual Reality product, one of the works of Informatics Education students. Some of the Virtual Reality products presented include VR temple buildings, VR traditional musical instruments gongs, and VR games. In addition to Virtual Reality products, sulfur detection boats and cargo drones are also products presented at the technology exhibition.
