Scientific journals are a place to accommodate research results in the form of scientific articles. The Informatics Education Study Programme (PTI) has two electronic scientific journals, namely the Informatics Education Journal (Janapati) and the Informatics Education Student Article Collection (Karmapati).
On Monday, February 10, 2020, at Ganesha Room 3, UNDIKSHA Rectorate Building, Editor in Chief Janapati, Mr. Gede Aditra Pradnyana, S.Kom., M.Kom., and Editor in Chief Karmapati, I Made Putrama, S.T., M .Tech., receive an accreditation certificate from the Ministry. Janapati is accredited to SINTA 3. While Karmapati is accredited to SINTA 5. For information, SINTA (Science and Technology Index) is a portal containing the measurement of the performance of Science and Technology, including the performance of researchers, writers, authors, journal performance, and the performance of science and technology institutions.
cited from undiksha.ac.id, UNDIKSHA Rector, Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Jampel, M.Pd., said that by increasing the publication of indexed journals, Sinta would be able to support university rankings, both nationally and internationally. “We have to increase this achievement. Like our vision to become a leading university in Asia by 2045, we must be committed to building UNDIKSHA”, he said. The Rector also said that this award could trigger the enthusiasm of other lecturers to improve their publications. “Through this award, lecturers can increase their commitment to work, especially to publish their work,” he said. In addition, Jampel also hopes that there needs to be an increase in quality so that it can enter Scopus. “For those who have entered Sinta 2 or 3, I hope they can continue to Scopus,” he said. (pti)
