The 2019 National Seminar on Informatics Education (SENAPATI) is an annual national seminar in Education and Informatics organized by the Department of Informatics Engineering Education, Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha, Singaraja, Bali. Senapati 2019 is a continuation of the seminars held in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018. The theme of this year’s seminar is “DIGITAL EDUCATION ENTREPRENEURSHIP”.

The SENAPATI activity was held at UNDIKSHA, Singaraja, attended by 2 (two) keynote speakers, 20 paper presenters, and 100 seminar participants. Senapati was opened by the Rector of UNDIKSHA, represented by the Vice Rector 1, Dr. Rasben Dantes, S.T., M.TI, with Virtual Reality-based Gong beating, which is the work of Informatics Education students.

This SENAPATI presented 2 (two) keynote speakers, namely Mr. Harry Budi Santoso, S.Kom, M.Kom, Ph.D, a lecturer from Universitas Indonesia. He discussed how to make a good application by paying attention to the UX (user experience) and UI (user interface) sides. The second keynote speaker was Mr. I Putu Edy Suardiyana, M.Kom, Ph.D., the CEO of In Suit and PT Bangun Innovation Technology. He explained that the greatest pride in building a startup is if the application made is useful and used by the community.
